Many modern brands have set out to protect our planet and save our external landscapes.
And for good reason too. We need them too.
But what about our internal landscapes?
Why haven’t we set out to protect and nourish our minds with the same rigor?
MUD\WTR is on a mission to inspire people through products, experiences, and content to save their internal landscapes (ie, their minds 🧠)
And shake up their “internal snow globe” through introspection & curiosity so they can see things from a new perspective.
All with an end goal of →
Helping people develop healthier minds through healthier habits.
Their hero product “Rise” was designed to replace an unhealthy habit with something better.
Aka,
Replacing excess caffeine consumption with something that still boosts your alertness, but without the after effects or damage to your sleep.
Founder Shane Heath set out to build MUD\WTR to help people defend their minds from the anxiety & depression that’s become almost unavoidable for every one of us. This journey was born out of his own struggles with mental health that weren’t reframed for him until he moved to India for 6 months…
And was broken away from American cultural norms for the first time. Where everything down to the beverage he drank first thing in the morning was flipped on its head.
After coming back to the states he started making a daily coffee alternative with chai, turmeric, cacao, and functional mushrooms — all inspired from his time in India. Soon he realized this not only helped him manage his anxiety and sleep better. But was something many of his friends & colleagues were equally as intrigued by.
He called it “Mud” and quickly built it into a full operation due to increasing demand.
Shane’s background is in design and art, which you can clearly tell by looking at their beautifully curated production videos, social feed, and packaging.
MUD\WTR also has an amazing interactive blog call “Trends with Benefits” that provides in depth insight into:
→ The health benefits of functional mushrooms
→ Mental health & well-being
→ Psychedelic mushrooms and experiences
→ Healthy habits built through internal & external adventures
MUD\WTR also donates to Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) in hopes to drive positive impact toward our current mental health crisis.
