Honey Mama's is an organic refrigerated chocolate truffle bar made with raw chocolate, raw honey, sprouted almonds, and coconut oil. They’re available in over 3,000 nationwide stores and raised a $10.3M Series A in 2021 led by Amberstone.


In the early 2000s, Christy ran a bakery company in Portland, Oregon with her family.During this time, she was always wellness leaning. She loved fitness, eating healthy, and caring for her mind through meditation. After 6 years, she left her bakery business with a desire to bridge her passion for food and wellness even more. Specifically because one of her close friends had recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myasthenia Gravis. Following her diagnosis, Christy started doing a gut health nutritional protocol with her as a way to support.

During this time, her friend not only began to reverse her autoimmune condition…

But Christy had huge “aha” moments about how powerful removing processed foods from her diet were for her health and vitality. This inspired the ingredient profile of what later became the first iteration of Honey Mama's, which launched at the Portland Farmer’s Market in 2013.
